The CBSI IQC is a USAID contracting mechanism that serves as a major pillar of U.S. security strategy for the Caribbean region. The core focus of CBSI is to increase citizen safety in the region by working collectively to counter corruption, substantially reduce illicit trafficking, increase public safety, improve juvenile justice systems, and provide opportunities for workforce development.
